Online grocery shopping is the current trend right now and it feels like you can get practically everything delivered to you without taking a step out of your home. Well, if you’re a fan of locally sourced artisan bread and located in Orange County, you’ll be excited to hear that you can now conveniently order freshly baked artisan bread from your favorite vendors thanks to The Artisan Club!
What is The Artisan Club?
The Artisan Club is an online service that delivers you weekly or bi-weekly subscriptions of artisan bread straight to your doorstep. Located in Orange County, The Artisan Club currently purchases their freshly baked bread from La Crema Cafe, a popular bakery in Seal Beach and delivers it to you on your chosen date first thing in the morning. They’re also looking to partner with more vendors to deliver a larger variety of artisan breads!
What kind of breads do they offer?
Currently, they’re still fairly new so the bread selection is still limited but you can now order any of the breads listed below from their local vendor, La Crema Cafe.
- Brioche Pan Baked Loaf
- Ciabatta
- Country Loaf
- Multi-Grain Pan Baked Loaf
- Seal Beach Sourdough Loaf
- and more!
When you’ve selected the Loaves, you’ll have the option of getting it cut in 1 or 1/2 inch slices.
Thoughts?
The Artisan Club is a very new concept in Orange County and I was able to sample a few of their items to review for this post! The items do come fresh and on time, my items were delivered at 7AM first thing in the morning, wrapped in plastic bags and placed in larger paper bags.
If you find yourself running to the bakery every other week to grab some breads for your meals, then The Artisan Club might be a great option for you. It’s convenient and although there is a delivery fee, if you’re ordering multiple breads it might be worth saving your time and gas. The selections of artisan breads offered does change so you’ll get a variety of new options to try as well. According to their site, they offer satisfaction guaranteed and you can cancel your subscription at any time, no questions asked.
