What is the Lazy Dog Beer Club?

The Lazy Dog Beer Club is a new quarterly membership for beer lovers that offers members a Beer Kit of craft beers to try right at home straight from some of Lazy Dog’s favorite craft breweries along with some other neat perks. For the membership, you can pick from either a Quarterly Membership or a Charter Membership and the first kit will be ready for pickup January 2019!

What craft breweries are featured?

Currently, the 4 craft breweries featured are Ballast Point Brewing Co, Lagunitas, Roadhouse, and Firestone Walker Brewing Co.

How much does it cost?

Quarterly Membership (starting November) – $35/quarter (plus applicable tax)

Charter Membership (currently available) – $140/year (plus applicable tax)

What’s included in the Beer Kit?

Each Beer Kit will be themed around a unique idea and include:

  • 8 hard to find bottles/cans of craft beers from 3 different craft breweries
  • Custom merchandise
  • Limited Edition Prints
  • Other Lazy Dog surprises that’ll make you smile!

What are some other member benefits?

  • Throwback LDBC Cooler Bag (new members only) to keep all your new Lazy Dog craft beers in
  • Automatic Beer Draft Upgrades – members who purchase a 16oz of the Beer Club featured draft beers will get a FREE upgrade to a 22oz beer (can be used up to 2 times a day, 5 beers per visit)

What do you get with the Charter Membership?

In addition to all the benefits already listed, the Charter Membership will allow you to extend your free beer upgrade to anyone in your dining party (up to 2 times a day, 20 beers per visit), a neat Charter Member embroidered patch, and a seat on the Lazy Dog Beer Club Advisory Board that’ll allow you to give feedback on the craft beers and help Lazy Dog pick their featured breweries and special merchandise.

Overall, it sounds like a pretty interesting concept if you’re a fan of craft beer and at the price of $35, it might be worth it to try it out for a quarter to see how you like it. Plus, Lazy Dog Restaurants serves some pretty tasty food so you can definitely stop in for a bite, use your free beer upgrades, and then pick up your beer kit as you’re heading out the door!

Address: Unfortunately the Lazy Dog Beer Club is only currently available in California and Nevada but you can find participating locations here.
