Hi! My name is Kathy and here’s a quick little bio about me. I love food, pigs (seriously, its like an obsession), trying new places, and taking pictures.
When I first started OC Food Fiend, I had just completed my degree in Business Administration Marketing at the University of Riverside California. It was a way for me to both share my love of Orange County food that I had from living my whole life here to the rest of the world and to learn more about the inner workings of social media marketing. What I found out upon entering, I fell in love with.
There was a whole foodie culture that I had never noticed before embarking on this journey and seeing others, of all ages and ethnicity, displaying their love for food and connecting with each other through that love fascinated me. It inspired me to learn more about the community, to try new food, to step out of my comfort zone to grow with this thriving community (and as a person) and contribute in any way I could.
Ultimately, I want to create a community where those people can come together, share their love, recommendations, tips, anything, to each other and anyone interested. That’s the dream for me right now and I hope you, who took the time to read this, will join me in achieving that.
