Serving up Modern Comfort food, Reunion Kitchen + Drink located in Laguna Beach right on PCH aims to create relaxing dining experience through their innovative interpretations on the foods we all know and love! How are they doing that? Well, let’s go ahead and dive in to what they’ve got to offer!

Outside of Reunion Kitchen + Drink

Inside of Reunion Kitchen + Drink
You might have easily driven past this little restaurant without noticing (I know I have), but it’s located right on the corner of a Pavillions plaza off PCH at the corner of Northcoast Highway and Boat Canyon Drive. Free parking is aplenty in that plaza and the design of the restaurant with their large windows creates an open air look to it that makes it feel like it should be beachside. If you’re not in the area often, they also have another location in Anaheim Hills.
Reunion Kitchen offers a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but let’s go ahead and talk about their breakfast menu! When it’s a weekend and you’re near a beach and the weathers just right, for some reason, I feel the need to start the day with a fruity drink. In addition to their bar drinks, a couple of the drinks offered on their breakfast menu include a Tequila Sunrise, Nutty Irish Pirate (Baileys & Malibu), French 75 ( House Champagne & Cognac), Jim’s Bloody Mary, and more.
For my drink of choice, I chose the Tequila Sunrise which has Sauza Hornitos, Fresh Orange Juice (got to get my Vitamin C somehow right?), Grenedine, Splash Soda, and Cherry. A well crafted drink that was pretty strong in my opinion, so you’re lucky I remembered enough to write the rest of this article.

Prime Steak and Eggs

Short Rib Reunion Benedict
So they say breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day and Reunion Kitchen offers a variety of savory entrees such as their Prime Steak & Eggs and Reunion Benedict with optional sides of either hash browns or fruit. The winner here was the Short Rib Reunion Benedict with perfectly cooked eggs, buttermilk biscuits, and a chipotle hollandaise to add a little kick to it. Looking for something on the lighter side? Reunion Kitchen also serves this AMAZING Oatmeal Brulee that not only looks great, but tastes pretty good for a non-oatmeal eater such as myself. If you do check them out, I’d love to hear your thoughts and recommendations in the comments below!
