What is the Dine In/Dine Out package?

The Dine In/Dine Out package offers you both a breakfast voucher to dine in during your stay and an exclusive discount booklet to dine out at local participating restaurants. These restaurants are ONLY offering these discounts through the booklet so it’s perfect if you’re planning to explore some local favorites. Also note that the package is only offered at participating Hilton Hotels in LA and OC and the promo ends March 31, 2018.

How do I book it?

To book it, you have to look for the specific listing that says Dine In/Dine Out package when searching for a room. If you don’t see a listing at that hotel, then unfortunately they aren’t participating in the promotion. Find out where you can book with my Hilton link here.

So what might a typical weekend stay with the Dine In/Dine Out package look like?

Day 1 – Check-in

I had the chance to experience the package at the Hilton Anaheim located next to the Anaheim Convention Center! When you book the package, you’ll be sent a digital e-book of coupons for participating restaurants so you can start planning which restaurants you’d like to visit. Upon checking in, I was also given breakfast vouchers to use the next morning. After grabbing those, I headed off to my room to unpack and rest a bit before dinner, where I found a surprise Hilton amenity package which consisted of tasty tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, and two cold beers. Can’t ask for a better start to the weekend then that, right? Note: The welcome amenity doesn’t come standard with the package and was just a surprise from the Hilton Anaheim, so no guarantees on that!

After resting, it’s time to head off to a local Anaheim favorite for dinner: The Anaheim Packing House. Located less than 10 minutes away, the Packing House is a trendy food hall that has a list of restaurants that were offering discounts with the Dine In/Dine Out package. I went ahead and listed a few below that I had the chance to try!

After stuffing ourselves with food, we headed back to the hotel and grabbed a drink at the beautiful Mix Lounge which can be spotted right as you enter the hotel. Then it was back to the room, where you can actually hear and see part of the World of Color show at Disney’s California Adventure!

Day 2 – Checkout Day

We woke up bright and early to use our Breakfast Vouchers (that came with the Dine In/Dine Out package) at the Mix Restaurant downstairs! Mix offers a breakfast buffet complete with an oatmeal bar, cereal bar, fresh baked pastries, omelette station, and more. The Breakfast Voucher includes both tax and gratuity so all you have to worry about is what food to try first!

After eating, we browsed the shops, came back to our room to pack, and headed on home from our wonderful weekend staycation.

The Dine In/Dine Out package won’t be here for long (end of March 31st) so don’t miss out on this great package whether you’re visiting Disneyland, exploring Anaheim, or even going on a weekend staycation!
