Ah, a local favorite of mine for healthy eating. Urban Plates is a great place to dine if you’re looking for a variety of refreshing entrees that are 100% scratch made with organic ingredients. I’ve recommended it for groups before and there’s always something for everyone to order off the menu or customize themselves.

What are the new Summer menu items?
Spicy Habanero Mango BBQ Ribs
Served with a half rack of ribs from free-roaming Berkshire Hogs topped with pineapple and mango salsa along with two sides of your choice, the new ribs are tender and full of flavor! Although it’s called a spicy Habenero, it’s actually just got a very slight kick to it, so don’t be afraid to try it if you don’t like spicy.
Antioxidant Salad
Okay, this one isn’t exactly a brand new item as the Antioxidant Salad is on their menu regularly, but they did replace their seasonal fruit in this salad with sweet strawberries and blueberries for the Summer.
Roasted Corn
Their new roasted corn is so tasty and highly recommended! It’s a side item that you can add to any menu item, like their classic Chimichurri Steak!
Strawberry Vanilla Layer Cake
This B-E-A-UTIFUL dessert gives a good ol’ Urban Plates twist to the classic strawberry shortcake. Layered angel cake with fresh strawberries and whip cream, this dessert is very light, moist, and perfectly sweet.
Where is the newest location in Orange County?
For this visit, I visited the newest Urban Plates location in Aliso Viejo. I’ve always been a fan of their natural decor and service at this location was just as friendly as the stores I’m used to. Although the restaurants indoor seating is not as spacious as the Irvine location, they have plenty of great outdoor seating options!
Recommendation: Spicy Habanero Mango BBQ Ribs, Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Corn

PLease use less oil on vegan foods. The fat content makes healthy low calorie food full of fat. I had vegan at Urban Plate, all our family eats Vegan for health but everything was covered it fat. Please, help us cut fat as we won’t miss it at all!
