Aloha Fork and Salad! The popular healthy restaurant chains first California location has officially opened it’s doors in Orange this past weekend offering fresh and healthy salads, sandwiches, lemonades, and more made with quality ingredients.
What’s offered at Fork and Salad?
Lemonade and Tea
Start off your meal with a refreshing lemonade, tea, or mix your own Arnold Palmer with interesting daily flavors like the Desert Pear.
Pick from their handcrafted salads, like this Cobb, or build your own with your choice of greens, protein, 5 ingredients, and dressings. Not a fan of bleu cheese in your Cobb salad? You can substitute any ingredient for any other option. If you’re gluten free, ask for their special gluten free bread to top it off!
Fork and Salad offers a few sandwich options, but the Ancho Chile-Seasoned Steak sandwich I tried was a pretty solid choice with their pesto spread, fresh greens, tomato and served with a side of their kimchi banana peppers (which are so addicting to eat)! A few of their other signature sandwiches include Smoky Papaya Chicken, Ahi Tuna Melt, and Quinao Falafel.
Their regular menu offers Tomato Bisque but you can ask for their daily soups. On the particular day I went, their soup of the day was Beef and Barley soup.
What does this location look like?
Located next to Snooze AM Eatery (which also recently opened), the Fork and Salad location has both indoor and outdoor seating. There are a few parking spots next to it in a small lot or the free public parking lots on the street behind the store that’s still within walkable distance.
Recommendation: Cobb Salad, Desert Pear lemonade, Ancho Chile Steak Sandwich
