Starbucks Secret Menu Drink?! Pink VS Purple

Pink. Drink.

Let’s just start out with the name of the drink that’s been popping up all over your feeds these last couple weeks.

What’s a Pink Drink?

The extremely photogenic “Pink Drink” was created by the internet and is made up of a Strawberry Acai Refresher with no water but with coconut milk instead. Sounds kind of gross? Well it basically tastes like a Strawberry Calpico or  Strawberry Milk.  I also tried it with a Berry Hibiscus Refresher (the drink in the back) which was actually less sweet as you get a stronger taste of Hibiscus, which was something I actually preferred over the popular Pink Drink.

Now, the next drink that you might be hearing about recently is the Purple Drink.

What’s in a Purple Drink?

The Purple Drink is made up of Passion Iced Tea, Vanilla Syrup, Soymilk, and blackberries. Not too sure the barista made mine correctly, but it definitely had a lighter taste than the Pink Drink. With the prominent taste being that of the vanilla and blackberries.

So which drink is better?

It honestly depends on the person drinking it! I’ve seen people fall in love with the Pink Drink and people who think it’s the most disgusting drink ever. Personally I prefer the Berry Hibiscus version of the Pink Drink because it’s the most balanced in flavors of the three drinks I’ve tried. Either way, both drinks are refreshing because of the milk in it and both will definitely quench your thirst in this heat. So try it out and let us know in the comments which one you prefer!
