Habana is now serving brunch on Sundays from 11AM-4PM and there’s definitely something for everyone! Tucked away in the Lab Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa, Habana’s Chef Alex Moreno is serving up award winning food daily made with fresh ingredients.

The restaurant itself is beautiful both inside and out! The patio seating area is perfect for large parties, bridal showers, birthday parties, or just a little get together with friends.

The furniture for the buffet set-up is outside, with rustic dressers and wood tables that take the crew 5 hours to set up the night beforehand. Each display has heat lamps and heating pads to keep the food warm and delicious; with items such as their Seafood Paella, Tamale Jars, Fried Bananas, and more.

Drawers filled with muffins and danishes? YES PLEASE. Here you’ll also find desserts such as flan, passionfruit chocolate cake, cookies, and these super adorable jam jars. Next to it, you’ll also find fresh berries wrapped in banana leaf cones and yogurt.

Continue along and you’ll find a Build Your Own Omelette and Waffle station with an awesome variety of ingredients for your delicious creation. PRO TIP: Definitely try the coconut syrup with your waffles!

After you’ve created and devoured all the breakfast classics, take a couple steps down to the FRESH seafood display where you can load your plate with fish, shrimp, ceviche, snowcrab claws (highly recommended), and more.

Next to this station, you’ll also find freshly cut skewered fruits and chile for a refreshing finish. While you’re dining, Habana also offers an assortment of alcoholic beverages to accompany your meal. A popular item was the Spiked Fresh Coconut Juice.

Overall, Habana has a little something for everyone and at the price of $38/Adult and $15/child it’s a great value for the variety of dishes as well as the ambiance. The decor here is beautiful for a Spring/Summer day and accompanied by the live music, you’ll definitely have to check this place out!
