Since I’m a huge fan of checking out local Farmer’s Markets, I’ve decided to compile a list to share a few of them with you all! Honestly, there’s something about perusing the stalls of local small businesses that’s so relaxing and fun for the family, don’t you agree? These are listed in no particular order but feel free to check them out below and comment with more Farmer’s Markets recommendations!
Irvine Farmer’s Market

I just recently discovered this Farmer’s Market and it’s easily one of my new favorites! There’s plenty of parking here and the market itself is located in a large parking lot surrounded by some shady trees so plenty of random spots to sit/stand and eat. There are about four rows of vendors selling baked goods (like giant donuts!), a balloon guy, caricatures, vegetables/fruits, plants, jewelry, and more. Here you’ll find food vendors such as Shanghai LA and Mama Musubi.
Perfect if you’re looking to: buy baked goods or cheaper veggies
Hours: Saturday 8:00AM – 12:00PM
Address: 5001 Newport Coast Dr, Irvine CA 92603 (Mariner’s Church)
Parking: Free, private lot

Great Park Farmer’s Market

PC: Yelper Tay T.
Located right at the edge of the Great Park, this Farmer’s Market is perfect if you’d like to spend a day at the park! The park itself is beautiful with plenty of space, a giant orange air balloon, carousel, and more. There’s a large grass area with palm trees spread about next to the Market that you can easily throw a picnic blanket down and relax at and is conveniently located right next to the the Farm + Food Lab ( an interactive outdoor classroom that’s free to walk in). This market has two row of vendors and a pretty good selection of varying gourmet food trucks such as Mad Dumplings.
Perfect if you’re looking to: have a picnic at the park with family
Hours: Sunday 10:00AM – 2:00PM
Address: (located in the Great Park, near the Farm+Food Lab)

Surf City Nights Huntington Beach Farmers Market

PC: Yelper Matt G.
This is one of the liveliest Farmer’s Markets in the area. The entire Main Street is blocked off so you’re free to walk around and check out all the vendors and activities. They have free live entertainment or paid activities for the kids such as bounce houses and a small petting zoo. The great thing about this Market is that you can also visit all the stores on Main Street as well or even walk down to the pier right afterwards.
Perfect if you’re looking to: spend some time at the beach after work
Hours: Tuesday 5:00PM-9:00PM
Address: Main St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648
Parking: Paid (Street Parking/Parking Structure), Free (Neighborhood Street Parking)

SoCo Farmer’s Market

PC: Yelper James Y.
This Farmer’s Market is on the smaller scale but is located conveniently inside the parking lot of the South Coast Collection. It’s easy to walk from the Market to check out the stores located inside the OC Mix such as Portola Coffee Lab, Shuck Oyster Bar, Susie Cakes, and more. They’re currently working on revamping the farmer’s market to add fun activities like their recent Chef’s Tour.
Perfect if you’re looking to: go shopping in the area
Hours: Saturday 9:00AM-2:00PM
Address: 3315 Hyland Ave, Costa Mesa CA 92626

Thursday Night Market in the Park

PC: FV Farmer’s Market Facebook
If you’re not the type to wake up early on a weekend for the usual Farmer’s Market, then this might be the stop for you. This Market has a few vendors selling the usual fruits and vegetables but not as much variety as the others on the list. They do have a selection of food trucks that come out often such as Waffle-licious, Crepes Bonaparte, and more. It’s also nice to stroll around the park either before or after as well.
Perfect if you’re looking to: browse a quick Farmer’s Market after work
Hours: Thursday 4:30PM – 8:30PM
Address: 16400 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley CA 92708 (Mile Square Park)

Tustin Certified Farmer’s Market

According to their site, this Farmer’s Market is a small medium sized market with about 40 vendors. The Market is open year round and has a small craft corner for hand-crafted goods.

Hours: Wednesday 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Address: 3rd & El Camino (Old Town Tustin) Tustin, CA 92704

Downtown Santa Ana Farmer’s Market

PC: Yelper Van D.
This market is on the smaller scale and the major downside (for me at least) is the paid parking. It’s located right near 4th Street Market and parking can be a hassle to find but it’s a neat quick stop if you already have plans in DTSA.
Perfect if you’re looking to: stop by a Farmer’s Market when you’re already in DTSA
Hours: Sunday 11:00AM – 3:00PM
Address: 2nd St. Promenade Santa Ana, California
Parking: Paid, Street Parking and Parking Lot
