BBQ fans rejoice! Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ has just debuted their new St. Louis Rib Chop now available at all Lucille’s locations!

Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ in Long Beach
What is the St. Louis Rib Chop?
The new Rib Chop looks like a chop but eats like a rib giving BBQ fans the best of both worlds! It’s cut from their St. Louis ribs with a bone-in handle, hand rubbed with Lucille’s signature spice rub, slow smoked for about 6 hours, then grilled and basted with their new apple butter BBQ sauce (which is made from apple butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon).

St. Louis Ribs + St. Louis Rib Chop
In addition to their new St. Louis Rib Chop, Lucille’s also introduced 3 new sandwiches to their menu! Which sandwich would you try?
- Apple Butter Pork Loin Sandwich – Slow smoked hand carved pork loin smothered with apple butter BBQ sauce, topped with apple slaw on a grilled ciabatta.
- Southern Pork Loin Sandwich – Slow smoked hand carved pork loin, dusted with our original rib spice, grilled, and topped with bacon braised greens on a grilled ciabatta.
- Mac and Cheese Brisket Melt – Thick sliced brioche buttered and grilled with smoked brisket, applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, piled high with mac and cheese and Lucille’s irresistible onion straws.
When I saw the words bacon and onion straws, of course I had to choose the Mac and Cheese Brisket Melt! Although the sandwich might sound a bit intense, it’s actually pretty well balanced with just the right amount of each ingredient where you can still taste all the different textures and flavors.
